Autotech Releases New‑Generation Rotary Lobe Transfer Pump

2026 09/01

Ningbo Autotech Machinery Co., Ltd., launches its rotary lobe pump for complex viscous medium transfer across global industrial sectors.
default name

The rotary lobe pump is a double‑rotor positive‑displacement pump designed for stable transportation of high‑viscosity, particle‑containing, shear‑sensitive fluids. This model covers chemical‑type, food‑type and general‑type configurations, with matched sealing assemblies to satisfy diversified working‑condition requirements. It delivers steady, efficient and safe fluid conveying performance for end‑users from multiple industries.

Core pump components go through strict manufacturing workflows including forging for rotor blanks and high‑precision Machining for critical fitting surfaces. The pump housing offers flexible material alternatives realized via steel investment casting, ductile iron sand casting or aluminum casting. Advanced process design optimizes internal chamber geometry and assembly tolerance to extend service life under continuous operation.

This rotary lobe pump finds wide‑ranging real‑world applications. In daily‑chemical industry, it transfers detergent, shampoo, toothpaste and various slurry raw materials. For food processing, it handles honey, yogurt, jam, meat slurry and yeast slurry. It also serves synthetic fiber, papermaking, fine chemical, new‑energy battery slurry, coating and pharmaceutical processes. Thanks to the non‑contact running gap between rotors and pump casing, vulnerable‑part consumption drops greatly; on‑site online repair, variable‑speed flow adjustment and optional safety‑valve installation further boost operational flexibility.

“Many global customers face challenges when pumping high‑viscosity or particle‑laden media,” said R&D Director of Autotech Machinery. “Our rotary lobe pump focuses on low‑shear gentle conveying. Combined with flexible casting and machining options, we can deliver custom solutions for unique site conditions.”

The unit supports flange, screw and tri‑clamp connection forms and can handle multi‑phase mixtures containing gas, liquid and solid phases. Standard performance calibration is completed under 25℃ ambient temperature with 500cp mineral oil; actual selection should consider real‑material viscosity, particle size and working pressure.
